New publication on third-party funding in international arbitration

Nater Dallafior associate Florentin Weibel co-authored the article "Cost-related Issues of Third-Party Funding in International Arbitration in Switzerland" (together with Eliane Fischer and Célia Huart). The article is part of the series "The Future of Swiss Arbitration" organised by the Swiss VYAP - Switzerland Very Young Arbitration Practitioners and was published by Jus Mundi (available online: Cost-related Issues of Third-Party Funding in International Arbitration in Switzerland (jusmundi.com)).

Third-party funding is playing an increasingly important role in commercial litigation and arbitration. The article examines and proposes concrete answers to certain cost-related issues and questions arising from the involvement of a funder in international arbitration proceedings in Switzerland.

Florentin represents clients in proceedings before state courts and arbitral tribunals. He focuses on all aspects of corporate, shareholder and M&A related disputes. Florentin is currently pursuing his LL.M. studies at the University of Cambridge.
