Nater Dallafior successfully represented the buyer in a post-M&A dispute arising from the acquisition of an accountancy and consulting business. The case centred on alleged breaches of warranty concerning the accuracy of the target’s financial statements. Our client claimed that key accounting figures had been materially misstated at the time of the sale. The district court upheld the claim, confirming a breach of contract, ordering a 31% reduction of the purchase price, and awarding compensation for attorney’s fees. The judgment was fully confirmed on appeal.
